TE 2026 Yiwu ChunLei

Price range: £5.00 through £45.00

We tried teas from this farmer for the first time in 2024. His trees grow in a forest not too far from Tongqinghe and Baihuatan—an Yiwu village we have never seen in the Western market. We’ll keep the exact location a secret, but we’re incredibly happy with it. Because it isn’t a famous place yet, this tea comes with a very friendly price tag.

Expect a creamy, sweet tea with a lovely mouthfeel and notes of peaches, cotton candy, and mandarin sweetness. We decided to name it Chun Lei (Spring Thunder), which in Chinese culture represents a good year and harvest to come.

This tea comes from medium-sized trees growing in a secret village in Yiwu.
