TE 2023 Laoman’e Kucha

Laoman’e village lies in Bulangshan. Their teas can be either from a sweet of bitter varietal. This one is a kucha (bitter tea).

Slight bitterness upfront which then quickly transforms into impressive sweetness and long-lasting aftertaste. Very dynamic and full of returning sweetness. We’ve been pressing this tea for years now. This year’s version is more balanced and slightly less bitter than previous years’. As for the sweet aftertaste it’s still very strong and special.

This is an early spring tea coming from medium size trees from Laoman’e village.
