TE 2024 Yiwu Chun Lei
£5.70 – £37.05
We tried teas from this farmer for the first time this year. His teas grow in a forest not too far from Tongqinghe and Baihuatan but from an Yiwu village that we have never seen in the western market. We’ll keep the exact location a secret but we’re really happy with it. It’s not yet a famous place and that is why this tea comes with a very friendly price tag. As for the tea, it’s a creamy tea with cotton candy notes and a lovely aftertaste. We decided to to name it Chun Lei (Spring Thunder) which in chinese culture represents a good year/harvest to come.
